      <Abstract>India is witnessing an aging revolution in unprecedented ways. This review explores the changing trends in the care of the elderly. The current dynamics of family, culture, economics, and social provisions are not entirely favorable for the well-being of old adults. Recommendations for alternatives in all these areas are provided to improve the elder care scenario in the country.</Abstract>
